This fabulous Victorian amethyst and pearl necklace is set in 18 karat yellow gold. It consists of (8) Amethysts which are round and oval in shape. (5) Pearls, 1 to 2.5 mm, and (1) Oval Amethyst with 12 prongs which measures 25mmx18.5mm x 12.1mm is 36.25 carat total weight. We also have (1) larger round Amethyst measuring 15mmx15mmx9mm which is 12 cttw. (6) Round Amethyst, 3 on each side measure 14x14x9.6 at 11 carats. 11x6 = 66 cttw. Giving us a grand total for the amethysts of 114.25 cttw. Chain length is 14 inches, with drop down amethysts measures 16 inches Circa 1880 - 1900. A very special piece for a very special woman.
