The carved shell cameo is oval shaped and depicts a woman facing to the right. The depth of the shells' colors are revealed in the artists carvings of the woman's hair colors.  The cameo is bezel set with a rope gold accent and a twisted gold pattern surrounding it. The cameo includes a fold over bail.
