A star of a ring!!! This star sapphire is set in platinum and is from the beautiful Art Deco period. The sapphire measures 18x15x9.06 and has a total weight of 25.93ct. There are (2) trapezoid channel set diamonds one on either side of the star sapphire. Below the channel set diamonds there will be (2) baguettes, trapezoids. One on either side. Measuring 3.5x1.5 which have a total weight of .12. Surroundings the star will be (42) diamonds. Round, French cut, single cut and bezel set. Diamonds have a total weight of .50 cttw. Diamond surrounding the star sapphire are Old European cut. We were lucky enough to have Elizabeth Taylor’s publisher strolling around our cases...he said the star sapphire is the exact color of her eyes! What a lucky woman she was to have eyes of such color!
